As a Faith Community we recommend
1). Masks for all people 12 years of age and older who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
2). Stay home if you or anyone in your household feels sick
3). Get vaccinated for all communicable diseases.
4). Respect an individual’s social distancing choices.
5). Respect people’s individual situations and comfort levels.
6). Clean your hands regularly
As an employer we will:
1). Support staff who may be sick with a communicable disease to stay home.
2). Provide handwashing/cleaning supplies and promote handwashing.
3). Maintain a clean workplace environment by hiring a regular qualified cleaner.
4). Support vaccination opportunities for staff.
5). Maintain building ventilation through regular building maintenance.
6). Update this communicable disease plan in accordance with changes in the medical health officer or WorkSafeBC Orders/Recommendations.
- For Faith-Based, Spiritual and Worship Practices there are currently no capacity limits on indoor or outdoor religious gatherings and worship services.
- For all non-faith user groups, Step 3 of the COVID – 19 Restart Plan requires indoor organized gatherings cannot exceed 50 people or 50% room capacity, which ever is greater. (This capacity issue specifically relates to the sanctuary and main hall). All room bookings - please discuss with our church administrator.
