Comox United Church, on Beach Avenue in Comox, BC, is part of the Pacific Mountain Region of the United Church of Canada.   Our statement of faith:

Mission Statement:

Comox United Church, an Affirming Ministry: centred in God, followers of Jesus Christ, and called to radical love.

Vision Statement:

Embraced by a loving God, guided by the Holy Spirit, inspired by the life of Jesus, and open to the revelation of Scripture, as an affirming faith community we:

  • celebrate diversity and welcome those of all sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, ages, marital status, social or economic circumstances, and abilities;
  • commit to justice, peace, and hospitality;
  • engage in proactive stewardship of the environment, people, and other resources;
  • embrace authenticity and encourage critical thinking;
  • include all at God's table, sharing sacred time and sacred space.

With spirits, minds, and hearts nourished and enlarged, we go out to serve the world with intention, passion, and compassion.

For the past 12 years, we have shared our building with the Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship who use the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall for worship every Sunday from 3 pm until 8 pm.

On May 29th, 2022, we held a Visioning Service to report on our year-long discussions on our current vision and goals. Watch this service by clicking on this link:
