The climate crisis can feel too big to stop or even mitigate, but over 200 International scientific researchers say it is possible to do just that! There are currently available solutions to counter this crisis based on work of Project Drawdown and Project Regeneration. Hope lies in implementing these actions.
Did you know that two of the most powerful climate solutions occur in our kitchen more than in the cars we drive? Would changing cooking methods in a distant country actually help? Is addressing equity even a climate solution? How do you talk to people about the climate crisis?
Join us in Finding Climate Action at 10 am on Dec 9 at Comox United Church, 250 Beach Dr., Comox. This will be the third part of the 2023 series on climate action being hosted by SAGE (Sustainability Action Group for the Environment) and the Comox Valley Unitarian Justice Team Church. This is not a religious event.
This 1.5 hour interactive session will be about “finding” solutions and finding communication tips, resources and climate collaborators! It will be facilitated by RegenerationBC, a nonprofit climate education organization. Although free, donations would be gratefully received at that door.
