On Sunday May 5th in Simms Park, Courtenay, the Indigenous Women’s Sharing Society and the MIKI’SIW Metis Association, with the support of our own Social Justice Team, will hold a “Red Dress Awareness Day Event. “ Everything kicks off at 1 p.m., with the Red Dress Walk starting at 2 p.m.
