Come celebrate our church communities with fun, food, and fellowship!
Did you know we have a covenant relationship with The Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship? Because we have a lot in common, there have been joint activities between the two congregations, but we haven't gotten together for a while!
The Joint Liaison Committee wants to change that. We are hosting a Picnic for all members and friends of The Comox Valley Unitarian Fellowship and Comox United Church. Our new ministers will be there to welcome everyone and there will be an ice-breaker activity before we have lunch.
We are renting space at Kin Beach, but the shelter/bbq is being used by another group, so we'll be in the lower site, right next to the parking lot.
Consider carpooling to make parking easier.
What to bring:
- a picnic lunch
- something to sit on
- a folding shelter if you have one (to create some shade and guarantee we won't be rained on!)
- activities to share (i.e. frisbee, ball, bocce, croquet, ring toss)
- a smile!
