Youth are an important part of our congregation and attend the first part of the worship service with their families. Following the “Theme conversation” time, youth (ages 12–18) leave with their leaders for a time of fellowship and discussion in the youth room.
Youth group activities are ongoing and some of those activities take place away from the church providing youth an opportunity to meet and share socially as well as to discuss and ponder the issues of concern to them.
Our Tween Group (Grades 4–6) is a twice a month gathering for pre-teens, where fun and faith exploration is shared in a safe, supportive community.
The Youth Group (Grades 7–12) also meets two or three times a month on Friday evenings for a time of food, fun, and fellowship. Once a year we offer a “Faith Exploration” series for teenagers, and once or twice a year we participate in region-wide youth events.
